Tasks in Projects
Project tasks are your control center for daily work in your project:
- Plan work in the Tasks tab of your project
- Monitor progress and keep track of what's being done
- Collaborate with other users directly on tasks
- Easily switch views between Tasks, Board, and Timeline
How to use tasks in projects
Switch views (Tasks, Board, Timeline)
- Open your project.
- Choose how to display tasks: Switch to Tasks, Board, or Timeline as needed.
The tasks remain the same in every view, and awork remembers which view you last used for each project.

There's no task filter available for project tasks. Instead, you can use the search function to filter tasks by user or tags, for example.
Open and edit task details
In the task details, you add the information your task needs.
- Click on the task name
- Edit or add details like description, due date, or assignee

Reset view
You can reset the view to its default settings. This resets the sorting, grouping, and column selection to their original values.
- Click on the action menu in the top right
- Select Reset to default
The view will then show the default sorting, default grouping, and default columns again.
