Please note, that this new feature will be rolled out gradually to all workspaces in the next days.

Views is a dedicated page for your saved task filters. Create views using filters, save them, and come back to them exactly as you left them. A sidebar keeps everything organized — with sections, search, favorites, and archive to manage your views easily.

Key benefits and use cases

  • Everything in one place: Access default views and all saved views from a single, organized page

  • Stay consistent: Reopen views with the same filters and layout every time

  • Align your team: Share views so teammates work from the same setup

  • Save time: Skip repetitive filtering and jump straight into work

  • Stay organized: Use the sidebar to favorite, reorder, and manage views easily

How to use Views

Access Views

  1. Open the main navigation

  2. Go to Views

  3. Use the sidebar to open default views

Create and save a filter view

  1. Open the main navigation

  2. Go to Views

  3. Click to create a new view from the sidebar

  4. Set your filter criteria (projects, users, statuses, due dates, custom fields, etc.)

  5. Click Save

Your filters are automatically preserved when you return.

Tip: For a full overview of available filter options, see Filters.

Use default views

Each teammate gets these auto-created views:

  • New Tasks: Recently created tasks assigned to you

  • My Tasks: All tasks assigned to you

  • Private Tasks: Tasks not linked to any project

Share a view

  1. Open a saved view

  2. Click Share

  3. Choose users, teams, or the entire workspace

  4. Set permissions (read or edit)

Tip: Share views with edit access so teammates can adjust the view themselves, or read-only to let them use it without making changes.

Archive a view

You can archive any view - personal or shared - to hide it from your sidebar without deleting it or affecting anyone else.

  1. Click the context menu on any view

  2. Select Archive view

The view disappears from your sidebar and moves to the Archived section at the bottom. The Archived section only appears when at least one view has been archived.

Restore a view

  1. Scroll to the Archived section in the sidebar

  2. Click the context menu on the archived view

  3. Select Unarchive view

  4. The view returns to its original section

Things to know

  • Archiving is personal - it only affects your sidebar. Other users see no change

  • The view owner is not notified when you archive the view

  • Archived views are read-only

  • Archived views are still accessible via search and direct URL

  • Archived views cannot be used in Dashboard widgets

Manage views in the sidebar

  • Search views: Find saved views by name

  • Reorder views: Drag and drop to organize views within sections (not available in Archived)

  • Favorite views: Mark key views for quick access

  • Collapse and expand sections: Keep your sidebar clean and focused

  • Archive views: Hides a view from your sidebar without deleting it

  • Smart sections: Archived, Favorites and Shared section only appear when they contain at least one view

Best practices

  • Save frequently used filters
Avoid rebuilding the same views repeatedly

  • Name views clearly: Use simple, descriptive names so teammates instantly understand their purpose

  • Share intentionally: Only share views that are useful to a group to avoid clutter

  • Favorite key views: Keep your most-used views one click away

  • Standardize team views: Create shared views for common workflows (e.g., daily triage, sprint planning)

Pro tip: Create role-specific views (e.g., for managers or specific teams) to reduce noise and increase focus.

FAQ

Can I share views with my team?

Yes. You can share views with users, teams, or the entire workspace with read or edit permissions.

What happens if I edit a shared view?

If you have edit permissions, everyone the view is shared with will see your changes after you've saved them.

Can I create private views?

Yes. If you don’t share a view, it remains visible only to you.

Can I organize my views?

Yes. You can reorder, favorite and archive views, and collapse sections in the sidebar for better organization.

Can I create views across multiple projects?
