Dark mode

Switch awork's appearance to dark mode and choose whether you want it permanently enabled, disabled, or following your browser or device settings.

Enable or disable dark mode from your profile

1. Click on your profile picture in the bottom left of the main menu (or your initials)
2. Turn dark mode on or off using the toggle switch

Set dark mode options in your account settings

1. Click on your profile picture in the bottom left of the main menu (or your initials).
2. Open Account settings.
3. Choose one of the following options:

• Off: Dark mode is always disabled
• Auto: awork automatically adopts your operating system/browser setting (dark mode is active if your browser or system uses dark mode)
• On: Dark mode is always enabled

How do I enable dark mode in awork?

Click on your profile picture in the bottom left of the main menu (or your initials) and toggle dark mode on or off. Alternatively, you can go to your Account settings and set dark mode to On, Off, or Auto.

What does the "Auto" option mean for dark mode?

With Auto, awork adopts your operating system or browser setting. If your system or browser uses dark mode, awork will display dark mode as well.

How does dark mode work in the mobile app?

In the mobile app, dark mode follows your device's system settings. If you want to change it, adjust the theme directly in iOS or Android.

Can I customize other colors or fonts in awork?

No. Additional design customizations aren't available in awork. Colors, contrasts, and typography are intentionally chosen to make awork as readable as possible.

awork currently supports only light mode and dark mode. Custom themes with your own colors and fonts aren't available to keep the appearance, readability, and usability consistent.
