How to use passkeys
Passkeys are based on cryptographic keys stored on your device or in your password manager.
Important: Make sure your device and browser support passkeys. Modern browsers, including current versions of Chrome, Safari, and Edge, support this feature. In the mobile app on iOS and Android, you can use your device's passkey features.
Enable passkeys

Log in to your awork account

Open Account-Einstellungen from your profile in the main menu at the bottom left

Enable Passkey-Anmeldung aktivieren in the Account section

Follow the instructions to register a passkey using your preferred method

The app uses your device's native passkey selector. Select the passkey stored on your device or in your password manager, then authenticate.
You can still log in with a password in the browser and the app.

You can't remove passkeys from within awork because they're managed using the method you chose.
Tip: Check your browser or password manager's instructions for how to remove a passkey there. You can click Einrichten in awork at any time to create a new passkey.
