My Tracked Time
View your tracked time across Overview, My Day, and My Week tabs, then edit entries individually or in bulk using checkboxes and the action bar
In the Time menu in the main menu, you'll find an overview of all the time you've tracked. You can switch between three views: Overview, My Day, and My Week.
Overview - All Time
Select the Time menu item from the main menu on the left.
In the Overview, you can see all your tracked time at a glance. Choose a time period, group or export your time entries.
Create new time entries using the purple + Time button or use the search function next to it.
Important: Time from timers that are still running won't be displayed here.
Edit time entries individually or multiple at once
You have several options for editing time:
-
Edit individually using the action button in the column (opens a window to make changes)
-
Edit multiple using the checkboxes to the left of the entries
-
Perform actions using the floating action bar at the bottom (for example, "mark as billed")
-
Select entire groups using the selection checkbox in the table header on the left
Depending on your permissions, you can also change the project, task, or user for multiple entries at the same time.
My Day
Select the My Day tab at the top in the middle to see all the time you've tracked today (or on another selected day). On the left side, a circular progress bar is running. The maximum value is your daily capacity.
Just below that is a list of all tracked time for the day.
Track time using drag and drop
On the right side in the Tracked Today column, you can create new time entries using drag and drop and adjust start and end times.
The dashed lines show:
- When you opened awork for the first time that day
- The current time
Suggestions based on activity in awork
To the right of your tracked time, you'll find suggestions (Activity) for which items you might still want to track time for. These are based on completed tasks, time you track regularly, and so on.
When you click on a suggestion, a window for creating a new time entry automatically opens and is already filled in with the relevant information. You can then save it.
If you don't want to receive these suggestions, you can hide them in your account settings (via the user menu in the top right of the screen).
Track time from calendar events
Using the calendar icon, you can integrate your Google, Apple, or Microsoft calendar. Calendar events will then be displayed in the timeline and you can add new time by clicking on an event.
You can find out how to do this here.
My Week
Select the My Week tab at the top in the middle to see all the time for the week. The week view works without specific times: all time tracking entries are displayed per day, and the length of an entry corresponds to the duration of the time tracked.
The time blocks are based on your specified daily capacity. For example, if you've specified only 4 hours of availability on Monday, the time block will also only be shown for 4 hours.
Add time
Click on the dashed boxes with the + symbol to add new time entries. awork automatically fills the duration up to your daily capacity.
Move time
You can move time entries between days using drag and drop, or change their duration by dragging them larger or smaller from the bottom edge.
