Importing Data from Meistertask
First, you need to export your data from Meistertask. You can find instructions on how to export your data here: Export data from Meistertask.
Meistertask exports the data as a .csv file. You can open this with Excel. All the data is separated by commas in a single column. You can split the data into individual columns as follows:
- Select the column containing the data
- In Excel, go to Data and then Text to Columns
- A pop-up window will appear. Select the Delimited option
- Choose the Comma option and click Finish
Now the data will be displayed in individual columns. From here, you can copy the data into the awork import template. The field mapping is as follows:
| awork | Meistertask |
|---|---|
| Project Name | Field not available in Meistertask export |
| Client | Field not available in Meistertask export |
| Task Name | name |
| Description | notes |
| Activity | Field not available in Meistertask export |
| Start Date | Field not available in Meistertask export |
| End Date | due_date |
| Planned Effort | Field not available in Meistertask export |
| Assignee | assignee |
| Status | section |
After that, you can upload the data to awork as described here.
