Choose an awork AI plan—Starter, Plus, Pro, or Max—to allocate monthly AI credits for chat, custom agents, and autonomous workflows
Roll out AI directly using your existing project knowledge. Projects, schedules, resources, and time tracking are already in awork, and awork AI uses them as the foundation for your team's AI usage, always with the right context and access permissions.
With awork AI, every active user gets their own AI credit allowance. You can choose the AI plan that suits you each month and switch plans flexibly whenever you need to.
awork AI is a separate subscription, in addition to your regular awork subscription.

Plans and pricing
The only difference between the AI plans is the amount of AI credits available.

Good to know:

awork AI has no minimum contract term and is independent of the term of your regular awork subscription. You can add or remove it monthly.

All active users in a workspace, including invited users, need at least the AI Starter plan (€15/month).

The number of AI licenses is based on the number of active users and is independent of the number of licenses in your regular awork subscription.

In the first month, all AI Starter users automatically get 4 times their usual credit allowance at no extra cost (equivalent to AI Pro). This gives you the chance to set up your AI workflows with plenty of credits.
The 4x allowance applies once, in the first month only. After that, the standard plan allowance applies.
Try awork AI
You can try awork AI free for 14 days, with selected models and a limited credit allowance. If that's not enough for you, just get in touch with us.
If you're new to awork, you'll automatically get awork AI when you sign up and can start your 14-day trial right away.
After 14 days, the trial ends automatically and does not turn into a paid subscription.
An admin can subscribe to awork AI at any time during the trial. If you don't subscribe, the add-on features are deactivated when the trial ends. Any AI content and configurations you've created can be saved and reactivated if you subscribe later.
Subscribe to awork AI
You can subscribe to awork AI when you sign up for awork or add it to your existing subscription. Good to know: Only admins can subscribe to or change the awork AI add-on.
Billing cycle
awork AI runs independently of your regular awork subscription and can be added or removed monthly. Its billing period is aligned with the start date of your regular awork subscription. So, if your regular subscription starts on the 15th, your awork AI billing cycle will also start on the 15th.
If you subscribe to AI partway through a billing cycle, you'll only be charged for the remaining time in that cycle.
Example: If you decide to subscribe to AI two weeks before the end of your current billing cycle, you'll only pay for those two weeks. At the start of the next billing cycle, you'll then be charged the full amount.
Once AI is activated, every active user automatically gets at least the AI Starter plan.
You can't activate AI for only some of your active users. AI licenses are purchased for active users and are independent of the user licenses in your regular awork subscription.
The number of AI licenses is based on the current number of active users, including invited users.
If you change the number of active users, your AI subscription will be adjusted accordingly.
Invite new users
If awork AI is active in your workspace, newly invited users automatically get the AI Starter plan and are counted as AI licenses. You can assign new users a higher AI plan at any time. If a user is invited during a billing cycle, you'll be charged a prorated amount.
Upgrade or downgrade AI plans
If an individual user's credit allowance isn't enough, you can upgrade them to a higher AI plan at any time. The upgrade takes effect immediately, so the new allowance applies to the current billing month. Any credits already used will be taken into account.
You can also downgrade individual users to a lower AI plan. The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing month.
Good to know:
- Unused credits expire at the end of the billing period and don't roll over to the next month.
- You can't purchase additional credits individually at the moment. If an individual user needs more credits, they can switch to a higher plan.
- If the credit allowance is used up, no extra charges are applied automatically.
Cancel awork AI
awork AI has no minimum contract term and can be canceled monthly at any time, independently of your regular awork subscription. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. You'll keep access until the end of that period.
If your regular awork subscription ends, awork AI ends automatically too. You don't need to cancel it separately.
What stays available?
Paid AI features are deactivated. Any content you've already added to awork projects, tasks, documents, or other areas will remain. Threads, Memory, Custom Agents, and Skills can also be saved and will be available again if you reactivate your subscription later.

Is awork AI part of our regular awork subscription?
No. awork AI is a separate subscription.
How often is awork AI billed?
awork AI is billed monthly, even if your regular awork subscription has a different billing cycle, such as 12 or 24 months.
Which AI plan does a user start with?
Every active user starts on the AI Starter plan. This also applies to newly invited users. Deactivated users don't need an AI license. You can then upgrade individual users to higher AI plans to give them a larger credit allowance.
Can users have different AI plans?
Yes. You can upgrade active users individually to higher AI plans. Invited users automatically start with AI Starter.
Do I need an AI plan for each user or each license?
The AI plan is charged per active user. Invited users are included too. The number of AI licenses is therefore based on the number of active users, not the total number of user licenses in your regular awork subscription.
Does the AI credit allowance apply per user or to the whole workspace?
AI credits are provided per user, per month. You can't transfer credits between users or pool them in the workspace.
Do unused credits expire?
Yes. Unused credits expire at the end of the monthly AI billing period and don't roll over to the next period.
Can I purchase additional credits individually?
You can't purchase credits individually at the moment. An admin can upgrade individual users to a higher plan instead.
Who can change a user's AI plan?
Only admins can activate awork AI or upgrade and downgrade individual users' AI plans.
Will I be charged extra if my AI credit allowance runs out?
No. Once the included AI credits have been used up, no extra charges are applied automatically.
Will the free awork AI trial automatically become a paid subscription?
No. The awork AI trial ends automatically after 14 days and doesn't automatically convert to a paid add-on.
Can I cancel the awork AI add-on separately from my regular awork subscription?
Yes. You can cancel the awork AI add-on independently of your regular awork subscription. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. If you cancel your regular awork subscription, the awork AI add-on will also end at the end of its billing period.
