With awork AI, every active user gets their own AI credit allowance. You can choose the right AI plan each month and switch flexibly whenever you need to.

awork AI is a separate subscription, in addition to your regular awork plan.

Plans and Pricing

The AI plans differ only in the amount of AI credits available for use.

Important to know:

• awork AI has no minimum contract term and is independent of your regular awork plan term (can be added or removed on a monthly basis).

• All users in a workspace need at least AI Starter (15€/month).

• Users can be individually upgraded to higher awork AI plans.

• Credit usage can be evaluated by model, user, client and project.

Try awork AI

You can try awork AI free for 14 days with selected models and a limited credit allowance. If that's not enough for you, just get in touch with us anytime.

After 14 days, the trial ends automatically and will not convert to a paid subscription.

An admin can book awork AI anytime during the trial phase. If you don't book it, the add-on features will be deactivated after the trial ends. AI content and configurations you've created can be saved and reactivated when you book later.

Book awork AI

You can book awork AI directly when you set up awork or add it to your current subscription. Just so you know: Only admins can book or modify the awork AI add-on.

awork AI runs independently from your regular awork plan and can be added or removed monthly. The billing period will be aligned with your regular awork plan date. So if your regular plan starts on the 15th, the awork AI billing cycle will also start on the 15th.

When activated, every active user automatically gets at least the AI Starter Plan.

Partial activation for individual users only is not possible (except for deactivated users and external awork Connect users). Billing is per user, not per license: what matters is your current number of active users.

Inviting New Users

When awork AI is active in your workspace, newly invited users automatically get the AI Starter Plan and will be billed accordingly. You can assign new users a higher AI plan anytime. If a user is added during an ongoing billing period, billing is prorated.

Upgrading or Downgrading AI Plans

If the credit allowance isn't enough for certain users, you can upgrade them to a higher AI plan anytime. The upgrade takes effect immediately, meaning the new allowance applies right away to the current billing month. Already used credits will be offset against the new plan.

Individual users can of course also be downgraded to a lower AI plan. The downgrade then takes effect from the next billing month.

Important to know:

• Unused credits expire at the end of the billing period and are not carried over to the next month.
• Individual credits cannot currently be purchased - if a user's allowance runs out, they can switch to a higher plan.
• When the allowance is used up, no automatic additional charges occur.

Cancel awork AI

awork AI has no minimum contract term and can be cancelled anytime on a monthly basis, independent of your regular awork plan. The cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current monthly billing period.

What remains?

The paid AI features will be deactivated. Content you've already added to awork projects, tasks, documents or other areas will remain. Threads, memory, custom agents and skills can also be saved and will be available again if you reactivate later.

How often is awork AI billed?

awork AI is billed monthly, even if your regular awork plan runs on a different billing cycle (12 or 24 months).

Which AI plan does a user start with?

Every user starts with the AI Starter Plan. After that, users can individually be upgraded to higher AI plans to get a higher credit allowance.

Can users have different AI plans?

Yes. Users can be individually upgraded to higher AI plans.

Do I need an AI plan per user or per license?

The AI plan is billed per active user, not per purchased license.

Is the AI credit allowance per user or for the entire workspace?

AI credits are provided per user and per month. AI credits cannot be transferred between users or pooled across the workspace.

Do unused credits expire?

Yes. Unused credits expire at the end of each monthly AI billing period and are not carried over to the next period.

Can I purchase individual credits?

Currently, credits cannot be purchased individually. An administrator can instead upgrade individual users to a higher plan.

Who can change a user's AI plan?

Only admins can activate awork AI or upgrade and downgrade individual users' AI plans.

Are there extra costs if my AI credit allowance runs out?

No. Once the included AI credits are used up, no automatic additional charges occur.

Does the free awork AI trial automatically become paid?

No. The awork AI trial ends after 14 days automatically and is not automatically converted to a paid add-on.

Can I cancel the awork AI add-on independently from my regular awork plan?

Yes. The awork AI add-on can be cancelled independently from your regular awork subscription. Cancellation of awork AI takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. If you've cancelled your regular awork plan, the awork AI add-on also ends at the end of the billing period.
