Where can I find everything?

The navigation has changed significantly. Here are the most important changes at a glance:

• General search → now available by clicking the magnifying glass in the top left of the main menu, or via the Floating Action Bar at the bottom center

• Dashboard → now called Home, in the top left of the main menu

• Projects in the main menu → accessible via Favoriten, Externe Projekte, and Meine Projekte (you can customize these sections in your account settings)

• Help and documentation → now available via the question mark icon in the bottom left of the main menu

• User overview → now available via the workspace settings in the bottom left of the main menu

• User profile → now available by clicking your profile picture in the bottom left of the main menu

• Timer → now available by clicking the Play button in the Floating Action Bar at the bottom center

• Project notifications → now available via the bell icon in the bottom left of the main menu

• Messages, comments, and mentions → now available via the inbox icon (Inbox) in the top left of the main menu

• Global action button → removed. Search and quick actions are now available directly via the Floating Action Bar at the bottom center

• Selection fields and shared controls → have been updated

• Time tracking lists → now appear as grids. Grouping, sorting, column settings, row actions, and selection are still available

Frequently asked questions

Is the new interface now enabled for everyone?

Yes. The redesigned 2026 web interface isn't optional. It's now the default view for everyone.

Where can I find the support chat?

The Help button is still available in the new interface, in the main menu. You can find it in the bottom left by clicking the question mark icon. You can also reach us anytime at support@awork.com.

I can't find my projects anymore. Where are they?

The Projects section in the main menu is now divided into Favoriten, Externe Projekte, and Meine Projekte. You can access your projects there or go directly to search. You can also customize which sections appear in the menu in your account settings.

Where did project search go?

It's been replaced by central search, which you can now access directly from the main menu or the Floating Action Bar.

Why can't I hide the menu completely anymore?

That's not possible in the new awork. Instead, you can minimize the menu to make the best use of the available space without losing any functionality.

Where did the settings submenu go?

The permanently visible submenu is no longer available in the new awork for now. However, it'll be back in a redesigned form soon. You can still access all settings via the settings section in the main menu.

Where can I find the timer?

In the Floating Action Bar, the fixed bar at the bottom of the screen that's always visible. Click the Play icon.
