How can I add more licenses?

You can add more licenses at any time, and they take effect immediately. Follow these steps:

• Go to: Einstellungen (gear icon at the bottom left of the main menu) > Abonnement > Abonnement verwalten
• Increase the number of users using the slider or by entering a number in the field
• Confirm the change by clicking Plan anpassen
• The new license is active immediately
• You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle

Example: The monthly price for one license is €12. A second license is added after two weeks.

→ About €6 charged for the remainder of the current month
→ Starting next month, €24 for two licenses

How can I remove or reduce licenses?

A reduction in licenses takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Follow these steps to reduce the number of licenses:

• Go to: Einstellungen (gear icon at the bottom left of the main menu) > Plan verwalten > Abonnement verwalten
• Reduce the number of users using the slider or by entering a number in the field
• Confirm the change by clicking Plan anpassen
• The change takes effect in the next billing cycle. You can continue using the licenses until then

What happens if I deactivate or delete a user?

Deactivating users does not automatically reduce the number of licenses you've subscribed to. To reduce the number of licenses, you'll need to manually update your subscription in the "Abonnement verwalten" menu.

Can I undo planned changes?

Yes, you can adjust or cancel planned changes at any time, as long as they haven't taken effect yet.

When do changes take effect?

• Adding licenses: active immediately and billed on a prorated basis
• Reducing licenses: takes effect starting with the next billing period

Can I subscribe to a license temporarily?

You can't subscribe to a license for an exact, limited period because the license is tied to your billing cycle. A reduction takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. With annual billing, that means at the next renewal; with monthly billing, it means the following month. So a temporary need is easier to accommodate with monthly billing than with annual billing.
