How agents and skills are added

As soon as a new AI trial is activated, awork creates workspace-wide copies of the latest published agents and skills.

These copies belong to the entire workspace, not to an individual user.

Manage the agents and skills that have been added

Users with the appropriate permissions can view, edit, and delete the added skills in the library. You can adapt the prepared skills to your workflows or remove any you don't need.

These rules also apply to agents and skills that have already been added:

• No retroactive addition: Workspaces and AI trials that started before this feature was introduced won't be populated with curated agents and skills retroactively

• Retained when changing plans: Copies that have already been added will remain in the workspace even after a plan change

Enable demo data for your trial

Demo data lets you get to know awork using a sample workspace. You can try out features, test workflows, and get familiar with typical content before starting on your own projects.

What's included in the demo data?

A demo data set includes:

• 2 demo users

• 2 demo projects

• 2 demo customers

• Tasks and tracked time

You can use it to try out features such as:

• Project views

• Task workflows

• Time tracking

• Workloads

Add demo data

You can add demo data in two places:

• During registration

• Under Einstellungen → Workspace → Demo-Daten

The available action depends on whether demo data already exists:

• If no demo data exists: Demo-Daten hinzufügen

• If demo data already exists: Demo-Daten löschen

To add demo data:

1. Open the relevant option at the end of workspace setup, or go to Einstellungen → Workspace → Demo-Daten

2. Click Demo-Daten hinzufügen

3. Wait for the workspace to be set up. This takes a few seconds.

Delete demo data and understand the impact

You can delete demo data under Einstellungen → Workspace → Demo-Daten löschen. You'll also have an option to delete the demo data before continuing during checkout.

What's removed when you delete demo data?

Deleting demo data removes all content in the demo projects, including:

• Tasks and subtasks

• Tracked time

• Task lists

• Comments

• Any content you've added manually to these projects

What happens to demo users after checkout?

If demo data is still present when you complete checkout, the demo users will be deactivated automatically.

Is awork AI included in the trial?

Yes. awork AI is also enabled as a trial during your awork trial.

Are AI agents and skills created automatically?

Yes. When a new AI trial starts, awork automatically creates copies of the latest published curated agents and skills in the workspace.

Do I have to add demo data myself?

Yes. You can add it at the end of the onboarding surveys or under Einstellungen → Allgemeines → Demo-Daten.

Can I use multiple demo data sets at the same time?

No. Only one demo data set can exist at a time. You can delete it and add it again as often as you like during your trial.

What happens to the demo users when I subscribe to awork?

If demo data is still present when you complete checkout, the demo users will be deactivated automatically. They can't be reactivated. If you delete the demo data later, they'll be permanently removed.
