OttoKit offers 800+ integrations to effortlessly connect your favorite tools to awork, automate tasks and boost efficiency.

Written by Isabel Helbig

OttoKit is an all-in-one automation platform that connects awork with other tools so you can automate workflows—no coding required.

Use the OttoKit integration for awork to build simple if/then automations with triggers and actions.

Key benefits and use cases

OttoKit links awork with a variety of tools and works both ways:

  • Automate cross-app workflows by triggering actions in other apps from events in awork (and vice versa)

  • Build if/then rules using a trigger (the “if”) and an action (the “then”)

  • Get started quickly with a simple setup that requires no prior knowledge

Available triggers and actions

In the awork OttoKit integration, these triggers and actions are available.

Triggers (events that start automations):

  • Client Added

  • Project Added

  • Project Member Added

  • Project Task Added

  • Task Status Changed

  • User Added

  • Time Entry Updated

  • New Time Entry

  • Time Entry Deleted

  • Project Task Deleted

Actions (tasks that run after a trigger):

  • Create a new project

  • Create a new client

  • Create a new project task

  • Assign user to task

Create and publish your workflow

  1. In OttoKit, choose a trigger and an action, then click Get Connected

  2. Edit the pre-selected trigger and action, then specify the events and adjust settings as needed

  3. Review your settings and test the workflow to make sure it works correctly

  4. When you’re ready, set the workflow to Publish. Your automation is now live and can be tested in your awork workspace

Important: You will need to log into the connected apps.
