Projects
Once you've set up your OS/ awork integration (instructions), your OS/ projects are automatically created in awork and shared with your project team.
Of course, all data like customer, title, start date, end date, and project team are transferred and updated with every change.
Resources
The awork time budget is taken directly from your OS/ calculation and constantly updated. This way you can always plan your projects and tasks in awork with current information, and your team always knows what resources are available to them.
If you want, your project calculation is also transferred to awork. This means you can see how many resources you have in each project phase, plan even more precisely, and see exactly where you stand right now.
Time Tracking
Work hours can be logged directly in awork or via myOS/ using voice input and are immediately transferred to OS/. This lets your team work in one place while project management always has the latest information on effort and costs. Time tracking couldn't be easier.
Of course, OS/ syncs your price list with awork, so your team can log their services directly and you can bill them.
OS/ also syncs activities to awork. If you log time in awork for an activity that comes from OS/, it's automatically transferred to OS/. When you log time for a task that was synced from OS/ (recognizable by the small OS/ tag), the time is booked directly to the corresponding service position in your OS/ budget and the associated activity is transferred.
Billing Time
Ready to bill work hours? Easy. OS/ takes your time entries from awork and you can conveniently bill them in OS/. If you like, you can add them to your project price or other costs too.
Billed time entries are naturally marked as billed in awork as soon as the corresponding invoice is issued. That way you'll never forget to bill an hour again.
Even better, OS/ calculates your actual labor costs from your time entries. So along with your work hours, you always have the financial effort you spent on a customer or project, and you know not just how many hours you could bill, but what share of labor costs.
And More...
OS/ continuously updates the status of your awork projects transparently to your team. Everyone knows right away if a project has been confirmed or completed. Your awork customer list is constantly updated and you can easily access your awork project via the logo in the project list.
How to Connect awork with OS/
To connect awork with OS/, go to awork under Settings / Integrations / API Clients and click the "+ API Client" button to create an API key.
- Open Settings / Integrations in your awork Workspace
- Add the following API key via "+ API Client"
Name: OS/ Api Key Client-ID: os-api-id Redirect URI: http://localhost/os-api (don't forget to click the + button)
- Go to OS/ and navigate to Workspace Settings on the "Integrations" tab
- Under "Available Integrations" you'll find awork
- Click the "+ Add" button on the awork tile, enter your awork API key, and click "Save"
