Integrating an invoice tool makes it possible to transfer times entered in awork directly to invoices in the integrated tool. In this article, you will learn how this works.
The following integrations are supported by awork:
Set up a new integration
To set up a new integration, go to Settings > Integrations in the awork menu. Open the integration library and select the appropriate tool in the Invoicing Tools section.
You are also able to start the integration setup directly from the time evaluations if there is no billing tool integrated yet. Just click on the dollar icon in the upper right corner and select Generate Invoice.
sevDesk

A window will open where you have to enter the API key of sevDesk. After copying the API key into the field, click on save, and the integration is set up.
This API token can be found in sevDesk under Extensions/ Integrations. From there, just copy it and paste it into awork.
Lexware Office
When you start the integration to Lexware Office from awork, you will be redirected to Lexware Office and will be asked to log in there with your Lexware user and password. You will then be redirected back to awork and will be able to use the integration directly.
The integration is valid until the authorization in Lexware Office is removed or locked.
HQ
A window will open where you have to enter the API key of HQ. After you have copied the API key into the field, click on save, and the integration is set up.
You can find the API token in HQ under Admin > API Clients. From there, you can copy and paste it into awork.
Easybill
A window will open where you have to enter the API key of easybill. After you have copied the API key into the field, click on save, and the integration is set up.
You can find the easybill API token in easybill under Profil -> Profil & Settings -> API Key
MOCO
A window will open where you have to enter your MOCO subdomain (e.g., your-subdomain.mocoapp.com) and API key of MOCO.
💡 You can find the API key in MOCO under: Profile → Integrations → Personal API Key. From there, you can copy it and paste it into awork.
After you have entered all information into the fields, click on save, and the integration is set up.

When you start the bexio integration from awork, you will be redirected to bexio and will be asked to log in there with your bexio user and password. You will then be redirected back to awork and will be able to use the integration directly.

Xero
A window will open where you can start the connection process with Xero. Click on Connect to Xero. You’ll be redirected to Xero’s website, where you can log in and grant awork access to your Xero account. Once you have authorized the connection, you’ll be redirected back to awork and the integration is set up.
Xero uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. This means that to connect awork to Xero, you’ll be redirected to Xero’s login/authorization page, where you log in and grant permission for awork to access your Xero account.
