How to use Dark mode

Toggle Dark mode from your profile

  1. Click your profile picture (or initials) in the upper-right corner

  2. Turn the toggle for Dark mode on or off

Set Dark mode in your Account settings

  1. Click your profile picture (or initials) in the upper-right corner

  2. Go to Account settings

  3. Choose one of the following options:

    • Off: Dark mode is always deactivated

    • Auto: Dark mode is active when your browser/OS uses dark mode

    • On: Dark mode is always activated

In the mobile app, Dark mode is activated or deactivated according to your system settings on your mobile device.

Please note: Further design customizations (colors, fonts, etc.) are not possible in awork. Colors, contrasts, and typography are intentionally chosen to ensure awork is as readable as possible.

How do I enable Dark mode in awork?

Click your profile picture (or initials) in the upper-right corner and turn the toggle for Dark mode on or off. Or go to your account settings and set Dark mode to On, Off, or Auto.

What does “Auto” mean for Dark mode?

Auto means Dark mode is active when your browser or OS uses Dark mode.

How does Dark mode work in the mobile app?

In the mobile app, Dark Mode follows your device’s system settings. If you want to change it, adjust the theme directly in iOS or Android.

Can I customize other colors or fonts in awork?

No. Other colors, fonts, etc. cannot be customized in awork. awork currently supports only Light Mode and Dark Mode. Custom themes (your own colors/fonts) are not available in order to keep the interface, readability, and usability consistent.
