Managing AI-Library Elements
Organize your Agents, Skills, and Connectors in the AI Library using the navigation panel and action menus to manage reusable AI building blocks
The AI Library is your central hub for Agents, Skills, and Connectors.
Key Benefits and Use Cases
The AI Library brings together the most important reusable AI building blocks in one place:
- Agents
- Skills
- Connectors
You'll find content you've created yourself, shared elements, and curated content from awork all in one spot.
How to Access the Library
There are 2 ways you can open the Library:
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon in the bottom left of the main menu) and select Library under the AI category.
- Or open the AI menu item in the Main Menu and click the Library button in the top right.
In the Library, you'll see a navigation panel on the left with the categories Agents, Skills, and Connectors.
Managing Agents
Access the Agents area
Select Agents to display all available agents. The agents are shown as cards in a grid layout with title, description, and creator information.
Create a new agent
Click the purple + Agent button below the search field. A dropdown menu opens with two options:
- New Agent: Creates a completely new, custom agent
- Use Template: Uses an existing template as a starting point

- Set up the connection: Enter your personal authentication if required for setup.
If no connector of this type exists in the workspace yet, you'll be creating the first one. After that, other team members can create their own connections for this connector.
The connector is created once in the workspace. After that, other users can set up their own connections for it.
Actions for connectors
Each connector card has an Actions Menu in the top right corner. Click on it. The following options are available: Manage Connections, Copy Connector Link, or Delete Connector.
You can disable Agent access for this connector using the toggle in the bottom right.
Using Connectors
Connectors link your Agents to external tools and services. awork provides predefined connectors. Additionally, you can create your own connectors using the MCP protocol.
Understanding Connectors and Connections
A Connector describes the service that AI can access.
A Connection is the actual set-up and authenticated connection to that service.
A connector can have multiple connections. When multiple connections are available, a selector appears. This lets you choose which connection the agent should use.
Using Custom Servers
Existing custom servers are also displayed in the Library. You can use such a server and connect it with your personal authentication if needed.
Sharing Connections with Team Members
Connections can be shared with team members. Click Manage Connections, then click the Actions Button in the Connections section, and select Share Connection.
A shared connection will then also appear in the Library of your respective team members.
This way, team members can use an existing connection without having to set it up themselves, as long as no separate account or authentication is required.
Tip: Shared connections are especially useful when multiple team members need to use the same service.
Enabling Connectors for an Agent
Depending on the agent, different connectors can be enabled or disabled.
If a connector is disabled, you can enable it. This gives the agent additional features or capabilities.
The Library shows you directly:
-
Active Connectors: These are currently being used by the agent
-
Disabled Connectors: You can enable these as needed
