Integrating an invoice tool makes it possible to transfer times entered in awork directly to invoices in the integrated tool. In this article, you will learn how this works.
Set up the Xero integration
To set up the Xero integration, go to Settings > Integrations in the awork menu. Open the integration library and select Xero in the invoicing tools section.
You are also able to start the integration setup directly from the time evaluations, if there is no billing tool integrated yet. Just click on the dollar icon in the upper right corner and select Generate Invoice.
A window will open where you can start the connection process with Xero. Click on Connect to Xero. You’ll be redirected to Xero’s website, where you can log in and grant awork access to your Xero account. Once you have authorized the connection, you’ll be redirected back to awork and the integration is set up.
Xero uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. This means that to connect awork to Xero, you’ll be redirected to Xero’s login/authorization page, where you log in and grant permission for awork to access your Xero account.
