How to Use Connect Trust

Workspace admins set up Connect Trust in the workspace settings.

Add a Trusted Workspace

1. Head to Settings (gear icon in the bottom left of the main menu)
2. Select Connect
3. In the Trusted Workspaces section, click + Add.

1. Enter the Workspace ID or URL of the partner workspace.
2. Click Save.

After you save, a badge shows up to confirm the trust connection.

How Connect Trust Works

When a trusted workspace sends a Connect invitation to users in your workspace, the invitation gets accepted automatically.

  Invitations from trusted workspaces skip the manual approval process.
• Control at the workspace level
  The receiving workspace has to turn on the trust first.

Permissions and Access Control

• Workspace admins can add and remove trusted workspaces.
• Regular team members can't see or change settings for trusted workspaces.

Known Limitations and Notes

Trust is one-way by default. If Workspace A trusts Workspace B, only invitations from B to A get accepted automatically. For trust to work both ways, both workspaces need to add each other as trusted.

What happens if a user belongs to multiple workspaces?

If the system can't figure out which workspace is the right one, the invitation goes through the normal approval process.

Nope. Both workspaces need to add each other if you want invitations to be automatically accepted in both directions.

Can regular team members see trusted workspaces?

No. Settings for trusted workspaces are only visible to workspace admins.
